GCPL Staff MakerCamps - 3d Printing and design workshop for Library employees

To meet a rising interest in 3D-printing for STEAM programs at Gwinnett County Public Library, I trained and enabled library staff through cohort-based learning in 3D design and printing. The curated experience aggregated free and paid resources, readings, discussions, and practical design projects. The staff completed the course by printing their own 3D designs in a hands-on session

MAKERCAMP: Polylactic-acid, Partnerships, and payouts - carterette series webinar

I presented this webinar with Michael Casey for the Georgia Library Association's Carterette Series. We discuss a grant-funded project at Gwinnett County Public Library to team up with school librarians and organize a 3D Printing camp open to area high school students. Makercamps at GCPL utilized online guides and apps to help students create 3D objects from scratch.
